At the MAS, we believe that developing and maintaining a sound body and mind are critical to getting the most out of life. We believe that the addition of dance to our programs will offer our students another avenue to improve both physically and mentally.
Our goal is to create an environment that gives each individual the opportunity to pursue and achieve a greater level of personal success and freedom. Flexibility will be enhanced through a gradual building process of safe and easy stretching techniques. Most students notice improvements in weight reductions as well as improved toning and strengthening of muscles.
Our dance instruction is provided by Clavell’s Dance Xpress. Whatever the goals are for your child/children, whether you want them to learn about dance, improve physical fitness, or you have a career in mind, CDX provides quality training in a professional yet encouraging atmosphere. CDX is dedicated to providing excellence in dance training to a diverse body of students.
Salsa refers to a fusion of informal dance styles having roots in the Caribbean (especially in Cuba and Puerto Rico), Latin and North America. This class will include instruction to popular salsa music for both couples and singles.
