Welcome! Established in 1998, Michael A. Smith's (MAS) is one of the most recognized martial arts schools in Brevard County. New for 2011, stop by and experience our new Dance Department! 

We have reached that goal by giving our students the highest quality martial arts training available. We offer karate classes for all experience levels, ages 3 years to adult. Try our high calorie burning, exhillerating kickboxing boot camp! 

MAS stands apart from other martial arts schools because of our outstanding After School Program which offers karate as well as dance classes.

The MAS Staff invites our young members to participate in the annual Summer Camp!

 

Our Mission

To enhance the lives of at-risk, economically disadvantaged, and/or special needs children, adolescents and young adults through a combination of martial arts, fitness and healthy lifestyle programs. These programs are specially designed to develop the mind, spirit, and body, as well as increase confidence, self-esteem & teamwork skills.

Through this partnership, we strive to enrich each individual’s quality of life by creating an environment full of
positive influences within the karate studio that transfer over into their everyday lives within the community. We seek to
deter participation in gangs, drugs, alcohol abuse, obesity and domestic violence through the attendance of regular
classes, seminars & martial arts competitions.  These activities give a positive influence and direction for the students to
follow throughout their lives.

Our Facility 

Michael A. Smith, Inc. d.b.a. MAS invites you to experience our top-rated 4000 sq ft facility. We are conveniently located in Rockledge Business Park at 597 Haverty Court, Suite 80, Rockledge, FL. Close to major highways, streets, and where you live! 

Our studio includes a 2000 square foot room, the dojo. Our dojo is used for Martial Arts Classes as well as our innovative Kickboxing Boot Camp.

The dojo can be divided as needed with drop down curtains which serve as partitions.

Visitors are welcome to watch each session without your child ever knowing you are there. Sit comfortably in our Client Viewing Room with virtual one-way mirror.

Our second studio features a floating floor. Join us in this room for a dance class and special informational work shops.
